No Ducati Club Race 2020
Due to the corona virus our government had to decide to cancel all events until the 1st of June. So of course we had to follow and cancel the Ducati Club Race. We are very disappointed because we had a very special program. Also we were so happy with all the participants, but we have no other choice. We are bound to government policy and also for us is our health the most valuable we've got. Of course all participants will receive their money back.
Next year the Ducati Club Race will be on our calendars. We know it is an awful lot of waiting for the 41th edition of the Ducati Club Race. We try to book the TT Assen at the last weekend of May.
We hope that Troy Corser and Troy Bayliss will be available to visit us at 2021 at the TT Circuit Assen.
International Ducati Club Races.
The International Ducati Club Race is a yearly event of the Ducati Club Nederland (DCN)
DCN is the largest Ducati Club of the world with nearly 4000 members. Our purpose is to organize nice and interesting events for our Ducati members but also for people who are interested in the brand.
What started on the 26th of October 1979 with 10 participates on the track of Zolder has become to a whole track weekend with more than 400 participates on the track of Assen. This event has also been visited by many famous people like Loris Capirossi, Troy Bayliss, James Toseland, Carl Fogarty. This race weekend is totally due to racing; racing with in particular Ducati’s but also on other brands from Europe and the USA.
This event contains 3 days. On Friday we have free riding for training to get used to the track and to optimize the bike for the rest of the weekend. On Saturday are the qualifications. During the seconds qualification riders can drive the utmost round time to get on pole position. On Sunday are the races. We have at about 13 races on Sunday so the day is fully filled in.
Not only on track but also on the paddock is entertainment. The paddock is during the whole weekend open for visitors. On the paddock you can see the bikes and the drivers. There is also a spare part market, nice attractions, other motorbike clubs and catering.
